Convention and GHC Bids
AMSA’s National Convention and Global Health Conference are two of the biggest events on our calendar, and it takes a team to drive their success each year.
The roles of the committees revolve around the creation of both academic and social programmes, sponsorship and marketing of the events, as well as much much more.
The location of Convention and GHC rotates around Australia each year in the following order:
- Tasmania
- New South Wales
- Western Australia
- Any regional centre (including ACT)
- South Australia
- Victoria
- Queensland
The election of these committees are coordinated with the AMSA Executive and the current AMSA Rep from that state, some 18-24 months in advance.
